Provide Fresh, Clean Drinking Water For Ramadān

or

SADAQAH JARIYAH

GIVE A GIFT OF WATER
THE BEST CHARITY

‘The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was asked,
“Which charity is best?”

He ﷺ replied,
“[Providing] water”’.

[Abu Dawud]

Providing a water well for those in need, is considered Sadaqah Jariyah, ongoing charity that continues your giving in charity, even after your death Inshā’Allāh

Many people across the world, do not have access to clean drinking water. With Allāh’s Permission, we intent to establish a minimum of 25 water wells across Africa and Asia before Ramadān 1445.

GIVING WATER LEADS TO FORGIVENESS

Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said,

‘A prostitute was forgiven by Allāh, because passing by a panting dog near a well and seeing that the dog was about to die of thirst, she took off her shoe, tying it with her head-cover and drew out some water for it. So, Allāh forgave her because of that’.

[Bukhari]

Al-Qurtubee رحمه الله mentioned,

Some of the Tābi’oon (students of the Companions) stated:

“Whoever has many sins, then upon them is to provide water. For Allāh forgave the sins of the one who provided water to a dog, so how about the one who provides water to a believing man (or woman) who is upon Tawheed (worships Allāh alone without associating partners) and gives him life (saving him by way of the water)?”

[Tafseer of Al-Qurtbee, Soorah al-‘Arāf, verse 50, vol.9, pg.233, Resalah Publishers, 1st edition]

SADAQAH JARIYAH PERSONAL WELL

If you establish a personal well for a community in Africa or Asia, you will be giving in charity every time that well is used.

Furthermore, when you return to your Lord, you will be continuously giving in charity through the well that you established…Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity)

Abu Huraira reported:
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:

“When a man dies, his deeds come to an end, except three:
Ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who will pray for him.”

[Sahih Muslim 1631]

MAKE ONE YOUR OWN !!

Establish a Personal Well for yourself or a family member, and give sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) even after returning to your Lord.

If you have had a loved one that has passed away, why not have a Personal Well established for them, so that they to are also giving Sadaqah Jariyah.
