Student Of Knowledge Educational Fund

The need for beneficial knowledge is greater than the need for provisions, such as food and drink, for while sustenance brings worldly satisfaction, it is the beneficial knowledge that illuminates the hearts, guiding them towards righteousness and enabling them to tread the path of success in the hereafter.

Recognising the challenges faced by students eager to acquire knowledge but lacking financial ability, City Centre Da’wah has established a Student of Knowledge Educational Fund.

By donating to these deserving students, you can make a profound impact on their lives and aid them to acquire valuable knowledge. Your contribution will provide them with essential resources, enabling them to deepen their understanding of Islam.  Additionally, it will alleviate their financial burdens, allowing them to fully focus on their studies and reap the rewards of their educational endeavours.

We aim to provide students from underprivileged communities worldwide with access to Islamic education programs like Markaz Ibn Al-Qayyim for Language and Islamic Sciences, we cover the students’ education fees on a term-by-term basis.

Certainly! Sadaqa Jariyah, or ongoing charity, is highly encouraged in Islam. It refers to acts of charity that continue to benefit others even after the person who performed the act has passed away. One hadith that emphasizes the rewards of Sadaqa Jariyah is the following:

Prophet Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم said, "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqa Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him."
(Muslim)

This hadith highlights the lasting impact of Sadaqa Jariyah and the opportunity to earn rewards even after death. By engaging in ongoing acts of charity, such as building a well, sponsoring an orphan, supporting educational institutions, or contributing to community projects, individuals can leave behind a positive legacy that continues to benefit others and earn them rewards in the hereafter.

Giving Sadaqa  not only provides direct help to those in need but also serves as a means of ongoing reward and blessings for the giver. It is a way to make a lasting impact and contribute to the betterment of society, even after one’s lifetime.

So, let us strive to engage in acts of Sadaqa and seize the opportunity to earn rewards that continue to benefit us in this life and the hereafter. May Allah bless us all with the means and sincerity to give generously and make a positive difference in the lives of others.
